EXPUTNIK – Accelerating Ideas – Investment vehicle and the first private capital start’up accelerator in Extremadura and Alentejo for technology-based Start-Ups
It was launched on March 21th 2015, the first day of Spring and by definition a new period of birth.
We are the Co-founders and International Legal Tutors in EXPUTNIK, a Project that causes us a lot of excitement for all the possibilities it opens to the entrepreneurial fabric of Extremadura and Alentejo.
Each year, EXPUTNIK will launch an open public invitation and select the five best entrepreneurial projects in Extremadura y Alentejo and, with all the necessary resources and the indispensable help of specialized Tutors in each relevant business area, and indeed every activity that comes hand in hand with the correct construction of a modern and competitive company (Entrepreneurs, Business Angels, Professionals, Scholars, etc.), will help with the development of the process that will transform those ideas into “EXPUTNIK Projects”: PIONEER PROJECTS LAUNCHED TO INNOVATE, INSPIRE, AND, OF COURSE, HAVE INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS.
We will select, help comprehensively development, and invest in the 5 best Projects related to some of the following sectors: Renewable Energies and energy efficiency, Information Technologies and Digital Businesses, Technology and Biotechnology applied to the Agriculture and Food sector, Information Technology applied to Health and even the Water sector.
With the establishment of our headquarters in Badajoz, the principal economical center in Spain’s Extremadura and Portugal’s Alentejo, we started an Accelerator model designed to help and guide the entrepreneurs of both regions in the development of their entrepreneurial projects, with the objective, once the acceleration process is complete, of having new Entrepreneurs with Business Plans and solid commercial strategies and analysis made by reputed experts in every specific market segment, and more importantly, with those ideas now translated into a real activity, guided towards success and as attractive for EXPUTNIK investors as to any other type of investor.
Nonetheless, we cannot forget that Alentejo as well as Extremadura gave birth to some of the best pioneers, with navigators and adventurers from both countries allowing Spain and Portugal to extend their own horizons at a time when it seemed they were stuck in a corner of Old Europe.
It is with this same idea that we have world-class Tutors, Advisors and Partners!
We intend to prepare and lay the foundations that project our travel partners across emergent markets of Latin America, as well as The United States, but we do not stop there. We are and will be constantly searching for and evaluating our agreements in order that they widen the horizons and the markets of our EXPUTNIK Entrepreneurs.
We also want to be the best point of reference and support so that businesses from Latin American markets begin their European internationalization phase in these parts, taking advantage of sustainable costs, a qualified work-force, logistical infrastructure, hospitality, talent and thousands of opportunities still to be explored.
