We also have to consider and underline the work developed in different offices and tech-transfer teams in the field of academia, as well as promote the connection of those results with the specific necessities of the market and create the synergies that, on the one hand, allow the commercial adaptation and exploitation of the results of the investigation and returns for all the agents involved and, on the other hand, keep up the motivation of the agents dedicated to research in the academic world by converting their efforts into tools and processes that represent clear capital gains for the company.

 

Naturally, a lot of these entrepreneurial initiatives require, at some point in their life, a large investment that enables them to accomplish their commercial objectives and their objectives of investigation, development and innovation (I+D+i), and, on the other hand, that guarantees as far as possible a return on the investment, determining the control measurements of the project development undertaken and the appropriate strategies for exit. For this reason, recruitment, negotiation, preparation and agreement of contracts with investors with different profiles (institutional, Business Angels, Venture Capital Funds, etc.) and also between co-investors, is a sector in which very specific responsibilities must be developed, and as a result we deal with them in a specific way, completely different from the way in which we deal with traditional legal sectors.
